Day 111
Sunday, February 5, 2017
Temperature: High 46° / Low 25°
What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?
This Sunday ended up being just the way I like it: pretty uneventful...with the exception of the Super Bowl, that is...
How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
I actually feel fine today. I’ll give it a 2 - just some minimal tightness in my hands...not bad at all! And the weather is supposed to be warmer this week so I’m looking forward to feeling this great for a little while.
Workout Time & Duration?
There was very little working out done today. I did a little bit of what I'll call a Chest and Back workout and Che was able to convince me to do a mini abs workout. Although now that I think about it, I probably shouldn’t have done that because I have my full 1 hour Core class tomorrow night...I should have rested, but what’s done is done now...
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
While I was busy doing whatever I was doing, Che reviewed some of the emails that Joyce sent us about the lighting and decor quotes we requested. I was busy at the time (I really can't remember what the hell I was doing), but from what I’m hearing, it isn’t looking too good for our budget. I’ll look deeper into it all early this week.
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?
Nope.
Loving Black Love Moment?
Although our Steelers didn’t make it to the Super Bowl this year, Che and i watched the game together and since we had no real stock in the game, we didn’t take it too seriously. Instead, we watched it and flirted back and forth with each other all night. We had a great Super Bowl length moment of lovey doveyness (wait: is that even a word? is any of this sentence a real thing?I know what I mean, so it makes sense now) all mixed with football. I do enjoy watching football with my man and tonight marks the reality that I will have to wait until next season to resume...
...to be continued
What am I happy for?
I’m happy that Che allowed me to keep our Christmas tree as long as he did. We finally threw it out today, and it really was a long time coming.I wanted to keep it and he was ready to toss it a month ago, but he allowed it to stay with us to make me happy. And I’m happy that he would do that for me...because he really did want to get rid of it...for real.
What could I have done better?
I need to get back into my water consumption goals. I was doing very well, but I’ve slacked off a little. If I want clear skin and less bloating, that’s where I need to improve.
I need to get in at least a half gallon.
And I need to get back into waking up early.
What am I doing tomorrow?
Getting this Monday started right!
A good clean breakfast, productive day at work, clean up around the house, good workout, healthy dinner, something -- hell, anything related to the wedding...
I’m doing it all tomorrow!
And making it better than today! I like that.
Whenever I say that it makes me feel better about my day!
