What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?

Fun and fulfilling! Today was a day full of celebration, motivation, validation, laughter, dancing and topped off with a few splashes of champagne!

Who am I kidding, there were a few BOTTLES of Champs! Why can’t every day be like today?

How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?

Nothing to write home about. Another day where I was too happy to remember that I have Lupus. I mean, the meds never really let me forget completely, but still...today was great. I’ll give pain a 1. Christmas is gonna be great if I keep this up!

Workout Time & Duration?

As fulfilling as my day was, there was no workout involved and I'm okay with skipping Chest & Back Day...well, I take that back...
I did do some abs when I got out of the shower this morning so that counts as my workout today damn it!

What am I happy for?

I’m happy to finally be comfortable putting myself “OUT THERE” completely and be PROUD of myself! I put myself out there with a lot of different people today and have been accepted with open arms every time. I’m happy to know that there is nothing to fear in life.  

Destination Wedding Task Tackled:

Lea replied to me and we are trying to figure out a good time to have our Skype conversation about the napkins. It looks like it is going to be on Tuesday since Christmas has everyone all tied up, but I’m super excited!!! Now that I think about it, I should probably tell Che about my plans since he will be off work and I fully intend on having him in on the call. Yeah...I probably should do that.

Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?

Nope, I was too busy drankin champagne and toasting to Destis and Bridefriends! Yes, that’s drankin and not drinking. There was drankin going on this Thursday!

Loving Black Love Moment?

I love my fiance. I just have to say that...I know it is quite obvious at this point...I mean I am agreeing to spend the rest of my life as his lady and all...but it needs to be said today. I had a great day full of validation and motivation from the outside world and there is no better Omi Cheerleader than Mr. Allen. He took time out of his busy day to celebrate my personal victories and that means a lot to me.

I love how important we are to each other.

What could I have done better?

I should have taken an uber to the GirlsOnly Holiday dinner party. I had an amazingly wonderful time, but didn’t get drunk since I was driving and it was a fair distance from home. Well, damn that sounded bad...okay, let me try that one again...I didn’t get drunk since I was driving. Period. Yup, that’s better! Anyway, the point is: I didn’t get drunk but definitely would have had a few more dranks if I would have Uber’d it tonight. That’s funny, but it’s the first thing that came to my mind. No judgments!

What am I doing tomorrow?

Grocery shopping,
Resuming my Macbook stalking (it is now “Preparing for Shipment” by the way) and...
Getting ready for Christmas!
