What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?

My wedding shoes were delivered this morning, so how could my day NOT go wonderfully?!?

Workout Time & Duration?

I got a great 1 ½ hour total body workout in the middle of the afternoon today and it felt GRRRREAT!

Destination Wedding Task Tackled:

So I woke up to a delivery notification that my shoes arrived at 6:11 am and they weren’t at my front door. I didn’t panic, I decided to postpone my freakout session until the leasing office opened up (exactly 23 minutes) and they were there!!! I rushed upstairs and tore open my bag and box to see THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SHOES OF MY LIFE!

Jimmy Choo took my soul...I saw it!

I was so wrapped up in Desti Land and thinking about being a Desti Bride for my destination wedding, that I pulled out my veil fabric that my seamstress, Debbie, gave me on Day 78 to get some design inspiration. I danced around for a while and truly delighted in my "I'm engaged and this is awesome" moment! It was great and I think I may have a few veil ideas too!

But Jimmy Choo still has my soul....

I had a lot of work to do to finalize tomorrow’s Bridefriends’ Guide to Destination Weddings podcast episode, but it was really great to be able to do my work in bed next to Che as he slept. It felt very...what’s the word?
Family-ish That’s not a word, but that’s how it felt

What am I happy for?

I’m happy to be able to have my first pair of Jimmy Choos. It only took me 31 years to get them...but I got em!

What could I have done better?

Well...since I knew my shoes were on the way...I should have gone for a pedicure so that I could have been more comfortable wearing my new shoes. I tried them on to make sure that they fit (and they feel like magic) but them I took them off because these feet do not deserve to be in those shoes. I should have been prepared!

What am I doing tomorrow?

Enjoying Friday and making it better than today...NOT an easy task, but I'm up for it!
