What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?

I haven’t been outside all day and I’m not mad at it at all! I had a great day AND we got our wedding budget in check, so who needs frigid temperatures?!?

How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?

My hands were a little bit achy, but my pain is still an overall 2.5, so I'm still happy here.

Destination Wedding Task Tackled:

It took us a while, but we went over our wedding budget spreadsheet and cleaned that baby up.

By the time we were finished with our spreadsheet, we had all money spent accounted for - down to the penny! We were funny trying to figure it out because there was a random $8.25 that couldn't be accounted for and it was about to drive us both (okay, definitely me) crazy...so I looked at all the amounts in the spreadsheet and picked out the ones that were round and perfect numbers (because nothing is usually $X.00 -- there’s always taxes or something) and it turns out the extra $8.25 belonged to my beautiful dress.

We also made our final decisions on lighting which consisted of our wedding planner,  Joyce’s original recommendations. This is funny to me, but at least we weighed out all of our options...and hopefully Joyce isn’t too pissed about it.

Oh, and how can I forget…

Che booked our Private Transportation to/from the airport and we had to decide which type of bubbly we would like during our ride...such difficult decisions…haha

Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?

Nope. But we got enough done anyway.

Loving Black Love Moment?

Today Che confessed that he looks at hotel reviews every day and he read some of the newest reviews to me... It was great being together and thinking about being in Mexico with our loved ones for our destination wedding weekend at our beautiful chosen resort.
We’re getting married in no time!

What am I happy for?

I’m happy that we chose our wedding planner, Joyce, to plan our destination wedding.
Of course, we haven’t seen the final result, but she is so great and I love the way
she is patient and understanding with us. I’m glad we chose her.

What could I have done better?

I see that I’m a TV hog/bully and I give Che a hard time about his television choices. He said it before, but it is true that I don’t care to watch much more than Everybody Loves Raymond nowadays, so I need to be better about sharing in this area.  Today we watched a movie, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and I didn’t want to watch it initially, but it ended up being funny as hell. AND it was about a destination wedding -- so I enjoyed it a little more. One of the jokes got me thinking too...it basically said Destination Weddings are the vacation without the relaxation...They may have a point...just a little.

What am I doing tomorrow?

Prepping for the week and enjoying the weekend a little bit more.
I just realized that today was St. Patrick’s Day - missed that one...and Daylight Savings Time begins tomorrow too…
