25 Days - Destination Wedding Journal - Black Destination Bride
Day 25
Tuesday, May 2, 2017
Temperature: High 63° / Low 50°
What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?
So, I may have pushed the envelope too far today because I’m not feeling too good physically and psychologically. At least we got our champagne confirmation for the wedding...that helps a little!
How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
Joint pain, exhaustion, headache, sinus pressure, cramps...I got it all today. I’m sure it isn’t all Lupus-related, so I’ll put my pain at a 3. I still feel shitty, but not Lupus flare kind of shitty, so I’ll take it.
Workout Time & Duration?
I struggled through an evening workout with my future husband and I’m just glad that I even made it. It lasted a little over an hour - I think. This day really was a blur...
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
Our planner, Joyce sent us an email about the champagne bottle idea and we now have a clear understanding of the pricing in Mexico. Luckily for us, it is comparable so we don’t have to even consider bringing bottles from the states - yet another thing we DON’T have to pack! The future hubby will be happy!
Joyce isn’t available for a Skype chat until next week, so we’ll have our Skype call then, but we still have plenty to talk about beforehand.
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?
Nope.
Loving Black Love Moment?
On Day 28, I told Che how unhappy I was with my body and every day since then he has been gently nudging me into the gym. I know he doesn’t want to be pushy, and I appreciate him motivating me without upsetting me - I know it isn’t easy.
What am I happy for?
I’m happy that today makes 25 days!!!
What could I have done better?
I could have taken it easy, I think I just over exerted myself today. Running a million errands, not resting or eating well - it was too much.
What am I doing tomorrow?
Hopefully, getting better! I still don’t have a hanger, robe, or anything to wear in Mexico other than my wedding dress and 2 beautiful pairs of shoes. That’s not gonna cut it!
