What Kind of Weekend Did I Have & Why?

A great weekend filled with loads of Quality Time with the fiancé, a Steelers victory and hanging with the homies! That’s tough to beat!

How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?

I felt pretty good all weekend, on Saturday I did my thing in the gym and Sunday I was in hostess mode, so no time for pain was allotted!
...Just fun and feeling good...
I’ll say my pain was at about a 5 on average, but I have had an odd kind of numbness in my hands - mainly the grip...My grip is wack as hell! I’ll keep an eye on that one.
Still, my 5 for pain is the best I’ve had in awhile.

Workout Time & Duration?

Che and I went to the gym together, which hasn’t happened in a long time.
Our workout was short and sweet... Short because it was about 1 hour and sweet because we're just cute and sweet like that.

Destination Wedding Task Tackled:

Che and I talked more about the wedding day music and the night before dinner, but nothing too serious. We were more in the lovey-dovey mode this weekend. And I have no complaints!

Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?

Ummm….No.

Loving Black Love Moment?

I can’t remember the last time Che and I laughed together this much.
This weekend has been one great big Loving Black Love moment!
My favorite moment was us laying on the floor with a blanket and pillows and watching The Jungle Book! Love that movie and love my man!

My Quality Time meter is on super full right now!

What am I happy for?

I’m happy for the Steelers beating the Chiefs on Sunday night!
More specifically, I’m happy for our kicker Chris Boswell because we couldn’t have done it without him...seriously! Every single point on the scoreboard was from him and his 6 field goals set a new NFL record for field goals in a playoff game!

What could I have done better?

I should have taken it easier on Sunday. Che and I really enjoy getting into hosting mode and forget all about ourselves.
Che tends to forget to eat and ends up tipsy as a result and I rarely take a break from cooking and end up exhausted in the end. We can do better there.

That, and I could have taken some damn pictures...
but I’m not even gonna get myself there...I’ll let it slide this time.

What am I doing tomorrow?

Resting!!!

Yup, That’s it!
