Wedding dress fitting day is here again!
Everything is coming together beautifully and we’re getting married in 31 days!

How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
Grrrreat! [In my Tony the Tiger Voice, which is an awful impression, by the way]
My pain was at a 1.5 today and I'm feeling excited about the wedding weekend. I have no plans to get it in like I did last weekend, and I’m feeling like this - so I should be in great shape in Mexico.
Workout Time & Duration?
Che and I put together a really full upper body workout together today. No cardio, but we did core for about 15 minutes and weights for about 45.
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
Two huge things happened today in this order:
- I went to the bank and wired the money to our wedding venue so now our food and drinks are officially paid for! Che made so many trips and I felt bad, so I wanted to help.
and...
- My dress is almost ready! Last week’s appointment was rough, but damn Debbie delivered today! I love, love, love what she’s done and I took enough photos and videos to last a lifetime...okay, I’m dramatic...but there are a lot! I was smiling ear to ear the whole time and I think we have only about 2 more - which is perfect because I’ll be leaving for my wedding in a matter of weeks at this point.
I love my dress!!!
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?
Nope! But I do need to figure out what I’m wearing for these 2 weeks of wonderfulness that we’re gonna experience.
Loving Black Love Moment?
Working out with my Future Husband is really doing it for me right now. This evening Che said, “Fuck Dinner and come workout with me” or something like that and I was loving every minute of it! He waited outside of the gym to embrace and kiss me and I almost melted but I had to remember that we had a workout to do, so I pulled it together. We stopped for dinner after our workout and our night only got better!
This whole evening was a Loving Black Love Moment!
What am I happy for?
My life, my health and the fact that I get to marry a supportive, brilliant and handsome man who loves me for me...and I get to marry him is a bomb ass wedding dress too!
What could I have done better?
I gotta figure out what I’m wearing on my head...veil? headpiece? veil and headpiece? Nothing? Okay, who am I kidding? Nothing isn’t a real option. I’m silly!
What am I doing tomorrow?
Doing my best to make tomorrow better than today!
...And checking in with the resort to confirm they received our contract for the welcome cocktail hour event space.
