Temperature: High 43° / Low 27° I swear it stayed at or around 27 all damn day! I SWEAR!
What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?
Although it was a chilly non-spring kind of day I was productive and got to spend some time with a good friend...not bad for Hump Day!
How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
I felt really good today! I did walk in the cold for a little bit today and recovering from the cold weather is never fun, but that’s my own fault so I won’t factor that into my rating when I say that today was another 2!
Workout Time & Duration?
I did 30 minutes of cardio this morning and that’s it! Hey...it’s better than nothing!
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
I did a few things today:
- I started picking out outfits for the week of the wedding and found some really cute stuff! The plan is to wear white for at least Thurs & Friday, but I want to wear white the whole week...we’ll see how that goes;
- Checked on my wedding gift for Che;
- Rescheduled my dress fitting appointment from this Friday to next Friday;
- Found some more ideas for welcome bags and added them to my latest Pinterest Board; and
- I think that’s it!
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?

Loving Black Love Moment?
So...I completely fucked up our dinner situation tonight because I went to have drinks with my friend and ex-coworker tonight. I really should have known that I’d be with her for a long time since we had a TON to catch up on, but I completely lost track of time and decided to bring takeout home. This would have been fine, but I messed up the order and had to wait for it longer and we ended up eating dinner at around 10 pm! Che was obviously (and rightly so) irritated at the whole debacle, but he handled it all very well and exhibited a great amount of patience and love anyway. I fucked up and he was his usual great self! Gotta love this man!
What am I happy for?
I’m happy that I was able to reconnect with my friend tonight. It was really great to see her and I knew I missed her, but hadn’t realized JUST how much until we got together. I used to see her every single day and then 4 months have passed and I’m so happy that we could get together. I won’t let another 4 months pass again.
What could I have done better?
I could have made sure that dinner was handled...yeah, I really fucked that one up...
What am I doing tomorrow?
I’m looking forward to my call with my DestiBeauty Pro, Ivory, and talking about our plans for hair and makeup for the wedding weekend!
I have other stuff to do, but that will undoubtedly be the highlight of my day.
And of course, making tomorrow better than today!
