What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?
Today I found my wedding shoes! At least, I think I did. All in all...today was a productive day! AND it’s 80 days until I’m Mrs. Allen!
How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
No complaints today! My energy level is still up and I’m having less and less aches every day, so it’s looking good for me. I’ll give today’s pain a 2.5
Workout Time & Duration?
I did an at-home workout today since I had so much work to do. I used the bands to do some back and arms work and added a little Core into the mix to complete my 1 hour workout...it was EXACTLY 1 hour because that’s all I had scheduled into my day.
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
I’ve been talking to our wedding planner, Joyce about our lighting options more and more and I think once we get this last quote, we’ll be on track. Since we’re planning a destination wedding, I’m feeling the distance a little more right now because we haven’t seen our venue in person. Because we can’t get a feel for the size of the space, we have to just trust the creativity of Joyce and the vendors we choose to make sure it all comes together wonderfully! THIS is where we have to roll the dice and roll with it!
And I’ve got my eye on a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes that can be my bridal shoes. I’ve never owned a pair of Jimmy Choos before, so why the hell not, right?!? Well, the price tag is worthy of a faint, but I can wear them to my bachelorette party, on our wedding day (before we get to the beach) and on our anniversary or when I just wanna be fabulous...that’s what I’m telling myself, so we’ll see! These babies are the shiznit!
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?
Nope.
Loving Black Love Moment?
This whole day was filled with our love today. I can’t count how many times we said “80 Days” but it gave me butterflies EVERY TIME!
What am I happy for?
I’m happy to be able to add on another girlfriend to my bachelorette party festivities! This is going to be great!!! I think I’m at 9 or 10 girls right now and I’ve NEVER partied with so many people in my life! And I’m oh so looking forward to it!
What could I have done better?
I didn’t take a nap...and I don’t see it happening tomorrow either since it’ll be the day before the Bridefriends’ Guide to Destination Weddings Podcast’s newest episode launches. I'll get back on track next week.
