Black Destination Wedding Bride - 151

Day 151

Tuesday, December 27, 2016

Temperature: High 46° / Low 30°

What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?

Getting back to Miss Productive!
I was back and on my shit today! Worked off some of the crap I ate over the weekend (hopefully), got some work done, did some wedding planning, all of that good stuff!

How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?

My hands were a little more achy than usual today, but nothing terrible. I’ll give my pain a 3.5/4 for the day.
I'll blame it on all the crap I ate over the weekend.

Workout Time & Duration?

Because of the hand pain, I took it easy in the gym. Well, it was that AND the fact that I hadn’t worked out for real since before the Christmas Holiday. Didn’t wanna go ham in there and jack myself up! Rather than do any specific workout plan, I opted for a total body workout today. It was a success...1.5 hours of success!

Destination Wedding Task Tackled:

What DIDN’T we discuss today?
I woke up and pretty much immediately jumped into planning. This sounds stressful, but it really wasn’t since I’ve been waiting to talk to Lea about the napkins. Since she lives in Guatemala, our Skype connection was a little spotty at times, but it wasn’t spotty enough to stop my happy dances that followed the conversation!

We aren’t 100% done, but I got to approve and reject several textile options and I am ridiculously happy about the direction we are going!

Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?  /  Loving Black Love Moment?

This is going to be a combo today!

We started to discuss EVERYTHING about the wedding during dinner. Plans and preferences for music, lighting, decor, budget, seating, menus...I mean EVERYTHING! Wedding conversations are a special kind of quality time because no matter what the topic is, we always fall back into thinking and/or talking about how wonderful we will feel.
Heart...heart...

What am I happy for?

Getting back on track and actually talking about the wedding.
I feel like it's been too long and Day 150 is right around the corner!

What could I have done better?

So, this is where I fucked up today: This morning during our Skype call with Lea about the napkins, Che asked a question about the logistics of getting our Guatemalan napkins to our wedding in Mexico. Well, I got a little snippy and started making excuses and it wasn't necessary. I didn't have to do all that...But I did apologize and get my act together.

What am I doing tomorrow?

Getting ready for this official Blog Launch!

Tomorrow marks 150 days until we get married!!!
