I’m doing surprisingly well and considering the weekend I had, I’m kinda shocked to be honest...but I’ll run with it.

If lifting the covers over my head, laying in the bed and watching my favorite movies all day doesn’t count, I got nothing.

Nothing productive was done today.

Loving Black Love Moment?
When Che came home from work, he got in the bed with me and we just talked, and talked and talked. We talked about the weekend, my birthday emotions, our plans to make sure the wedding is enjoyable for us and everything else under the sun… Then, he went and picked up dinner and we watched another favorite movie of mine - Bridesmaids. He's the best birthday partner!
What am I happy for?
I’m happy to make it to another birthday! I’m not gonna get all mushy with myself, but I know how lucky I am and life is great. I realized today that this is my last unmarried birthday...and I do already have my partner and we have shared several birthdays together at this point...but my reality is that I will never spend another birthday alone as long we live - that’s a hell of a reality to have!
What could I have done better?
Not one damn thing! In between my intermittent napping, I watched Something’s Gotta Give (twice - I can never watch it just once), Arthur and Bridesmaids...couldn't get any better.
What am I doing tomorrow?
Back to the real world I go...
