What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?
This ended up being the exact type of day that we needed today. An easy morning, great afternoon workout, some catch-up and prep for the week and time with great friends to top it all off! Perfecto!
How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
I felt a little achy and itchy today. I know that itching is a side effect of my Plaquenil medication, but it comes at the oddest times and I can really do without it! Other than that annoyance, today was aight...I’ll give it a 4 for pain.
Workout Time & Duration?
Che and I hit the gym for about an hour or so today. Considering the amount of alcohol we consumed, stress that we’ve been under and lack of workouts this week, I’m proud of us. Our cardio and core workout was a good re-introduction!
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
All I did today was reach out to follow up with our dog sitter, Christy, to see if she found out anything more about her availability for the bachelorette weekend. And she is available! That counts as a tackled task!
And...I’m still trying to maintain my sanity through the suspense of receiving our final guest numbers from our travel agent Sarah next week. That counts too!
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?
Loving Black Love Moment?
Che and I both had work that we needed to do this weekend and we told ourselves that we would do it. When the time to work came I was fighting it and not being positive because I only wanted to relax and do more NOTHING today. I was being a baby about it and Che had to get my mind right and let me know that I was trippin’. As usual, he was exactly what I needed. I love how he was able to straighten me out in a stern, but loving way.
What am I happy for?
I’m happy that we were able to have dinner over our friends’ house and our usual great conversations.
What could I have done better?
I could have consumed more water over the weekend. I’m obviously dehydrated… Skin is dry and I can’t have that! My glow is gone! Operation more water this week is in effect!
What am I doing tomorrow?
Making tomorrow better than today, hitting the gym, something (anything) wedding related and drankin’ more water.
