What Kind of Day Did I Have & Why?
Not toasty as in warm and cozy...
toasty as in there’s a lot to celebrate, so let’s make a toast!
The blog launch is going wonderfully, the wedding bands are looking phenomenal, we were able to have drinks with some newly engaged friends (bonus!), and we’re getting married in 148 days!
Cheers, cheers, cheers and cheers!
How Do I Feel? Health/Lupie Status?
Not pain worthy of a mention.
I’m feeling good all the way around and thanks to my shift away from reckless food and drink choices, it is looking like New Year’s Eve is going to go wonderfully!
Workout Time & Duration?
I was even able to get in the gym today, which is worthy of a toast on its own! That empty gym had me looking like a kid in a candy store! I did some of everything in there for a little under 2 hours, just because I could! The emptiness of the place was great, but I have to admit that I did also have the best motivation since I got to see my updated wedding band RIGHT before my workout!
I swear, I should try to do something wedding related before every workout...I may try that for 2017. I really do get a little more pep in my step on those days.
Destination Wedding Task Tackled:
The freezing weather couldn't keep me away from my ring today! Quite frankly, I don't know if I could have survived another day without seeing it...
for real...I may have died.
And I can’t be dying and shit, so I layered up and trekked on to the jeweler. And...even though my favorite jeweler Melanie was off work, it still was successful. I believe it's EXACTLY what I need in my life. It's that amazing! We're not taking the rings home quite yet, and I do still want to go over everything with Melanie next week.
Nevertheless, I'm 99.999% sure I can check "putting a ring on it" off of our list!
Any Old Destination Wedding Tasks Making a Comeback?
Loving Black Love Moment?
I didn’t do it on Day 150, but I finally got to pop my bottle of Rose today! While making dinner, we popped the bubbly and toasted to our 148 days! We have so much to happy for, but we are always sure to celebrate ourselves and that never gets old.
I swear we can toast to anything...and I love it!
Hell, I'll toast to that too! Where's my bubbly?!?
What am I happy for?
I really am happy to be healthy and feeling good!
There have been so many times that I am unable to really enjoy myself because I am ill. At times like this, I have to take a moment to truly appreciate the fact that I am not in the bed and under the covers...or in pain...feeling left out and unable to enjoy this spectacular time in my life.
Another toasty moment!
What could I have done better?
I could have woken up earlier! I gotta get back to my 6:30AM Miracle Mornings. They really are great! I’m not getting all resolution-y, but I need to reinstitute that into my routine.
What am I doing tomorrow?
Prepping for New Year’s Eve!!! This year is almost over!!! That's crazy!!! And I can't wait to toast to that too!
