Destilorette Weekend!

Temperature: Atlanta’s weather was perfect!
There was no rain until it was time to leave - can’t ask for more!
I had an amazing weekend! This was definitely an unforgettable weekend and I’m so appreciative of all of the love and support that surrounded us and I hope everyone else enjoyed themselves as much as I did - or at least close!
I decided that the best way to share and keep track of this weekend is through lists. I took notes throughout the weekend and I’m pretty proud of what I could remember.
Sooo much happened and so much liquor was consumed, that this is my best option…

Bridefriends Wake Up!
I woke up next to my future husband with a beautifully sweet and cute wake-up text and greeting from my Bridefriends! My greeting went something like this:
Good morning beautiful bride to be, we have a wonderful day for you and your future husband to celebrate you with Black Love and you have 30 minutes to be ready to start your day so you can’t lay your head down...I wish I could have recorded it - but it was perfect!

Pampering!
The girls and I were pampered at a GREAT Spa called Natural Body Spa and Shop. We all had our different treatments and came out looking radiant, relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of the day! I had a hot stone massage and seaweed wrap, followed by a 60-minute hot stone massage...oh, hot stone massage: I don’t understand how I've lived these years without experiencing you!
Now that I think about it… did I thank the girls?!? I must have - but will again, just in case because I Love, Love, LOVED it! They really spoiled me
Lunch!
Muss & Turners was the restaurant we went to and it has this “secret/hidden” area in the back with a speakeasy vibe that was perfect for an after spa meal - it wasn’t lit brightly, so we could keep the relaxation going. We had a lovely lunch and I can’t remember what I ate, but it was good! I just remember thinking, damn these girls did their homework! During lunch, one of my friends was obviously upset about something for a little while (I assume related to the day), but they tried their best to shield me from it...but I could tell something was up. Her frustration passed and didn’t mess up a thing! It kinda felt good to know that they were trying so hard for me. I felt special-er... 😊
Nap!
Between the spa and lunch - I was knocked out! All I remember is my friend telling me that as soon as we got to the house she needed me to go directly to the bedroom for about 15 minutes...no problem, because it was nap time anyway...I’m sure those 15 minutes turned into 30 minutes (maybe more), but got another wonderful Bridefriend wake up and it was bridal shower time…
How on Earth did I just journal so much about a NAP?!? I have no idea - but I’ll run with it. Anyway, on to the shower...

But I will say that I can’t forget the huge surprise of Butlers in the Buff 😜
We enjoyed drinks, games, gifts, kind words and a ton of laughs!
Damn this was a great day!
Night-time Festivities
Eryn Renee came to the house to do my makeup (or should I say "beat my face"), I continued to drink my bubbly and after I got all dolled up and prettified - we hit the town!
Dinner, at my favorite restaurant Two Urban Licks, didn’t disappoint and the girls surprised me with a Limo picking us up and taking us to our first club destination - Harlem Nights! This was my first limo ride, by the way 😍.
We had a scavenger hunt - I may have been the only one who played but I didn’t care - it was fun! We drank, danced and all that good shit!
Note to self: Gotta figure out this Snapchat shit for real. Not that I was sober enough to be taking pictures anyway...but still...
Our next stop was to meet the fellas at the strip club, Onyx. After we made it rain for a lil' bit, we hit our last destination - another strip club, PinUps, for after hours fun!
I think we made it home by 6, but I have no idea because I was knocked out on the way to the house.
Since my wedding day hasn’t yet come, I think it's safe to say that this day was on
BEST DAY EVER
Status
Having an amazing time with my honey and friends...priceless!
The only thing I’d change is to take more pictures - we didn’t get any group pictures all night - the girls, the fellas, or all of us...we got nothin but our memories - that’s how good of a time we had! We were living in the moment! 😍
